Science Experiments is a practical class for primary children. Each week the group carries out a simple, safe experiment — testing materials, growing seeds, watching reactions — chosen to match topics in the Key Stage 1 and 2 curriculum.
Children do the work themselves: making a prediction, running the test, and writing down what happened. Doing it by hand makes the ideas easier to remember than reading about them in a textbook, and it builds the habit of asking why.
It suits children who learn by doing and those who find school science a little dry. Alongside the fun, they pick up the vocabulary and method the curriculum expects them to know.
