Arabic Language Classes

Primary-level Arabic building reading, vocabulary and everyday phrases, with a focus on recognising and sounding out the script.

Arabic classes for primary-age children start with the alphabet — recognising letters, joining them, and sounding out words. From there children build a working vocabulary and simple phrases they can use and understand.

Lessons are spoken and written in roughly equal measure. Children read short passages aloud, learn common words by theme, and practise writing the script neatly. For families where Arabic is tied to reading the Qur’an, the reading skills carry over directly.

Groups are small and paced for young learners, with plenty of repetition so new words settle. Children gain a foundation they can build on at home, at school, or in a later GCSE.
